Our team of Optical Dispensers are qualified and experienced to dispense the most appropriate option for you. Advice on the best lens and frame combinations are all part of what we do.

Your optical dispensers have studied and taken part in practical examinations to learn the best techniques and methods of manufacturing, adjusting and repairing your eyewear.

Bulk Billed Eye Examinations

At Lake and Valley Optical the bulk of your eye examination is billed to Medicare. There is also a co-payment of $20.00 for most consultations. Please ask our friendly team for more information.

Contact lenses are medical devices and as such do need to be properly fitted. At Lake & Valley Optical, we fit and supply a range of contact lenses from well known brands as well as customised lenses.

CASA Aviation Eye Evaluation

CASA Aviation Optometry

Angela is a CASA Credentialed Optometrist (CO) and can provide Aviation Eye Examinations for licence renewals with direct reporting to CASA. The Aviation Eye Examination is quite thorough and tests all aspects of vision.  

Please allow 1 to 1.5 hours.

As dilating eye drops will be used it is advisable to bring a driver and sunglasses to the appointment. CASA examinations do not attract a Medicare rebate.

You will be required to bring photo ID, a current pair and a backup pair of eyewear and any relevant paperwork related to your eye health e.g. previous eye surgeries.
